Anxiety doesn't have to be the reason you stop riding.

If you love riding motorcycles, but anxiety sometimes gets in the way, this workshop is for you.

Join psychologist and motorcycle rider Kim Walker for a unique and practical workshop designed specifically for riders. This session explores why anxiety shows up when we ride, what it is doing in our minds and bodies, and how we can respond to it more effectively.

This is not about "just getting over it". It's about understanding anxiety and learning practical strategies that help you ride with greater confidence and enjoyment.

During the Workshop You'll Learn:

  • Why riding can trigger anxiety

  • What happens in your brain and nervous system when anxiety appears

  • How thoughts, physical sensations and behaviours can fuel anxiety

  • How to recognise your personal anxiety patterns

  • Practical techniques to calm your nervous system

  • Strategies for managing nerves before and during a ride

  • Ways to rebuild confidence after a setback or frightening experience

  • How to gradually rebuild trust in yourself and your motorcycle

  • How to keep anxiety from becoming the reason you stop riding

Meet Kim Walker

Kim Walker is a psychologist with more than 25 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, stress, trauma and life's challenges.

She's also a motorcycle rider who understands first-hand that anxiety can affect riders of all experience levels.

Kim created the Ride with Anxiety workshops to bring practical, evidence-based psychology into the riding community in a way that is relatable, supportive and genuinely useful.
